AUSTRALIA - Military - World War II Period

840 A-1944 (Oct 13) airmail POW Post Card with 4d Koala, from Camberwell to Thailand, endorsed "RTA" (Returned to Australia?), "RTA air 9.10/15.10/[initials]" and "SPEAKER" all on face, purple diamond '3/PASSED/BY/CENSOR/143' also on face. The POW, Chaplain William I Fleming, appears to have been flown home before the transports and hospital ships arrived in Singapore to bring the POWs home.
